*원산지 표시의 면제 가능 물품
1. 판매 또는 임대목적에 제공되지 않는 물품으로서 실수요자가 직접 수입하는 경우라면, 원산지표시 면제 가능합니다. 수입하시는 사업자등록증 전달주시면 면제 가능여부 확인하겠습니다.
2. 해당 시트는 ‘수입후 실질적 변형을 일으키는 제조공정에 투입되는 부품’에 해당되므로 원산지표시 면제 처리 가능합니다. 사업자등록증 및 납품계약서 전달주시면 면제 가능여부 확인하겠습니다.
3. 진열·판매용이 아닌 견본품의 경우, 원산지표시 면제 가능합니다.
4. 수입자의 상호·상표 등이 인쇄되어 전시용으로만 사용하는 경우, 원산지표시 면제 가능합니다.
5. 우리나라로 수입되기 20년 이전에 생산된 물품인 경우, 원산지표시 면제 가능합니다.
*무상 제공 증정품의 원산지 표시 여부
소비자에게 무상으로 제공하는 증정품이라도 증정품에 대한 별도의 원산지표시 면제 규정이 없으므로 원산지표시가 필요하며, A 물품의 경우 소매용 최소포장에 스티커표시가 필요한 점 참고 부탁드립니다.
*우산의 원산지 표시 방법
우산은 현품표시가 원칙이나, 상거래 관행상 최종구매자에게 포장, 용기에 봉인되어 판매되는 물품이라면 최소포장에 표시가능합니다.
다만, 첫번째 물품의 opp포장 경우는 봉인되어 판매되는 것으로 볼 수 없으므로 일반적으로 세관에서 현품에의 원산지 표기를 요구할 수 있습니다.
가능한 현품에 tag 또는 스티커 표기 부탁드립니다.
Q. Goods eligible for exemption from country of origin marking
1. If the goods are not provided for sale or lease and are imported directly by the actual end user, the origin marking requirement may be exempted. Please provide your business registration certificate so that we can verify whether exemption applies.
2. If the imported sheet is a component used in a manufacturing process that causes substantial transformation after importation, it can be exempted from the origin marking requirement. Please provide your business registration certificate and supply contract for verification.
3. Samples that are not for display or sale are exempt from origin marking.
4. If 1the imported goods are printed with the importer’s own name or brand and used solely for exhibition purposes, origin marking is exempted.
5. If the goods were produced more than 20 years prior to their importation into Korea, they are also exempt from the origin marking requirement.
Q. Country of origin marking for free promotional items
Even if an item is provided free of charge to consumers as a promotional giveaway, it must bear a country of origin marking because there is no exemption provision for such items.
For product A, please note that the country of origin label should be attached to the retail-level minimum packaging (e.g., via sticker).
Q. Method of marking the country of origin on umbrellas
In principle, the origin must be marked directly on the product itself. However, if the product is customarily sold to end consumers in sealed packaging or containers, marking on the minimum packaging is acceptable.
That said, in the case of OPP packaging that is not sealed, the customs authorities may require marking directly on the product.
Therefore, it is recommended to mark the origin directly on the product by using a tag or sticker.
