수입 물품의 원산지는 제조단계에서
인쇄(printing), 등사(stenciling), 낙인(branding), 주조(molding), 식각(etching), 박음질(stitching) 또는 이와 유사한 방식으로 원산지를 표시하는 것을 원칙으로 한다.
다만, 물품의 특성상 위와 같은 방식으로 표시하는 것이 부적합 또는 곤란하거나 물품을 훼손할 우려가 있는 경우에는
날인(stamping), 라벨(label), 스티커(sticker), 꼬리표(tag)를 사용하여 표시할 수 있다.

General and exceptional methods for country-of-origin marking of imported goods
In principle, the country of origin of imported goods shall be marked at the manufacturing stage by printing, stenciling, branding, molding, etching, stitching, or other similar means.
However, where marking by such means is unsuitable or impracticable due to the nature of the goods, or where there is a risk of damaging the goods, the country of origin may be marked by stamping, label, sticker, or tag.

When these items are imported into Korea for use as feed, they do not require inspection by the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety (MFDS), but instead must undergo feed quarantine.
For feed quarantine procedures when importing into Korea, the importer must first be registered as a Feed Import and Sales Business Operator.
After that, the importer is required to complete ingredient registration with the Livestock and Agricultural Management Division of the relevant provincial or municipal government.
